Give out a positive reply like this “I am in pursuit of a better opportunity”.  This is short and to the point

OR

Start by offering a positive about your former/current employer:  “I’m so grateful for the opportunity that I have had at ABC Company.  I learned a lot, and am now ready to move forward and use those skills while furthering my career goals”.  Then smile and stop talking!
